Kaamdaar is run by Kaamdaar, a sole proprietorship of Anita Gupta. This page says what we collect, who can see it, and how to reach us about your data.

What we collect

You can browse every job without an account. Posting a job or sending a quote needs one, because the other person has to know who they are dealing with.

• What you sign in with — an email address or a Google account. If you sign in with Google, we use the name, email and picture it gives us to fill blanks on your profile, and nothing else.
• What you choose to add — a name, photo, phone number or date of birth.
• The jobs you post or quote on, and what happened with them.
• Your location, only if you turn it on. To sort jobs by distance we use a position rounded to about a kilometre. For a job you post, we store the address you typed and the job’s exact position.
• Credits — what you bought, earned and spent, and when you viewed the daily sponsored message.

Payments

Credit purchases are processed by Razorpay. We receive the amount, the time and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your UPI PIN, card number or bank login.

Who can see what

Public: your name, photo and record — that is the point of a profile.

Only you and the poster: the amount you quoted. Other workers see how many people have quoted, never for how much. This is enforced in the database, not just hidden in the app.

Only the person on the other side of an agreed job: your phone number. When a poster chooses a worker, the poster can see that worker’s number; once the worker unlocks the job, they see the poster’s number, the address and the exact position so they can find it. Nobody else is ever shown them.

Only you: your email and date of birth.

Sponsored messages

The daily sponsored message is shown inside Kaamdaar. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

What we keep

Completed jobs stay on the record permanently. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your account; records we must keep by law will remain, and your past jobs stay on the other person’s history.
